This week I was asked by the team leader to produce some renders/images of how we would produce the layout of the exhibition. The images are very much like our original concept although a few of the ideas have been altered or left out due to limitations. There is fewer props in these images than what there were in the original concept ideas.
These images were created and rendered using 3Ds Max. Another group member (Dan) has produced more renders using photoshop. All of these images will help to organise the preparation of the exhibition.

Hi Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteGreat renders. Just a comment, looking at the splats of colour on the floor made me wonder why you want them to be that big. Contacted a person who cuts vynil and the price of a 50x50 cm vynil will be around £35 (still, I need Savva or whomever is in charge of that to send a file to this person so he can give a more accurate price. If the splats are so big: a)if your team makes them of dough (as they were planning last class) they are going to be a hazard for visitors; b) if you are planning to make them flat i.e. vynil, they are going to be very expensive. Speak with your team and find out how they are going to solve this problem so you can have a more accurate idea of how the place is going to look with props. By the way, wasn't part of the props pencils, etc? Please communicate with your team so everyone is working towards the same idea. The more accurate your renders, the faster and easier will be to set your exhibition.
